This superb fruit is masterfully made into wine by Joy Kull who seems to really be able to bring this variety to new heights. The terroir clearly shines through in the unique character of this natural red wine, which might remind you of a bit of juicy Gamay from Beaujolais with ample cherry fruitiness, a streak of measured and very integrated acidity and a charming sweet sensation on the finish.
