Domaine de la Pépière

Domaine de la Pépière is situated in the village of Maisdon sur Sèvre. Its winemaking history began in 1984 when Marc Ollivier, a child from the hamlet of La Pépière, created the estate.
La Pépière originates from the word “pepie” meaning to be thirsty. By walking above the village where the vines are planted, one understands better why the hamlet was so named.

Since Marc's retirement, the estate is in the capable hands of two locals: Rémi Branger and Gwénaëlle Croix. Rémi favors the conversion of the estate to organic farming, and  Gwénaëlle to biodynamics.
