Axel Prüfer

Based north of Beziers in the Languedoc, Le Mas Blanc is the home to the Temps Des Cerises cellar. 

Axel began his natural winemaking career some 30 years ago, he has gained legendary status for his production of delicate and fresh wines (often low alcohol) from such a brutal landscape. 

In the winery all grapes are fermented in whole bunches, including the whites, and see élevage in large tanks (mainly fibreglass). The cellar has been adapted so there is no need for a pump with all rackings fed by gravity.
