The Kioutsoukis family abandoned their city life and moved to the northern Greek countryside near Thessaloniki to fulfil their wine making dreams.
Dimitrios Kioutsoukis (a chemical engineer) and his daughter Stavroula (agronomist- oenologist) with their family's assistance planted 11 hectares of vines (mainly Greek grape varieties: Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis, Xinomavro). Kamara was born, producing pure, low intervention (natural) wines.
They are extremely passionate about using 'more than organic' methods in viticulture and winemaking. Their main goal is to create unique and versatile wines that express both their philosophy and the terroir.
